Get in the Race!

Step 1: Register through our online store to reserve your car kit.

Step 2: Pick up your car kit in the taproom.

​

Step 3: Build your beer/brewery themed car.

​

Step 4: Show up on race day to send your car down the track.

​

Join us for a day of racing as we put a spin on a childhood classic. Kettle to the Metal Beer Can Derby will have rules similar to what you may remember from Pinewood Derby days, but this time your car must incorporate a beer can or have a strong brewery theme. 

 

Do you have what it takes to make the fastest car? We will be judging winners on both race times and the spirit of the designs. Prizes will be awarded to winners and IGB raffles will be held through-out the event for all participants. Car check in will begin at 12:00, and the races will begin at 1:00pm.

 

Registration will be $20 and will include an official derby kit and your first draft beer on race day. Register online through our online store. Car rules can be found below and will be provided with your car kit.  

 

Car kits can be picked up in the taproom starting September 14.

This is a 21+ event only. You do not have to be registered to join in the fun. Spectators are welcome to come cheer on their favorite car. Our friends from Hop Nation USA will be on site doing something fun as well.
