BrewMaster Challenge Beer Release Party & 2025 Recipe Submission at Verona Taproom

Remember that Homebrew challenge we had for this year's Three Rivers Beer Week? We invited seven local home brewers to come share samples of their delicious brews with our guests and brewers for a 412 Homebrew Taster. The beer is on the schedule for brewing and the release party is planned for Oct. 25. We're also giving much more planning time to be part of next year's 412 Homebrew Taster and Brewmater Challenge.

2024 Brewmaster Challenge:

We didn't give time for the beer to be brewed so we selected a BrewMaster Challenge from submitted recipes and announced the winner at the 412 Homebrewer Taster. The winner was invited to come brew their beer with our brewers on our system and be part of the whole production process. 

This year's winner is Bryan Llewellyn.

Beer style: Roggenbier

The beer is going in the tanks on October 5. Bryan will be here brewing with the team. Stop in for a peek over the wall!

Join us on Oct. 25 for the Roggenbier release party!! The beer will be available on tap and in cans to go. 

*Bryan was even part of the name, can design, and canning process. 

Be part of next year's challenge and 412 Homebrew Taster.

We will be accepting submissions to participate in next year's Brewmaster Challenge and 412 Homebrew Taster during the release party. There is a limited number of homebrewers that will be invited to be part of next year's Homebrew Challenge and 412 Taster. Invited participants will be selected and announced on October 25. Your recipe must be submitted on October 25 to participate. 

How to submit:

- Bring your recipe to October 25 event. One free beer of your choice on us when you submit your entry. 

- We will select a limited number of participants (based on recipe) and will announce at 8pm. 

- Brew your beer for the 2025 412 Homebrew Taster for judging 

*Please do not submit your recipe if you can not attend the 412 Homebrew Taster, which will take place on April 12, 2025. 

*The 412 Homebrew Taster is open to the public. Please be prepared to offer samples of your beer to guests and for judging. 

*We will provide: tables, ice, cups, spray bottles, dump bucket, free Inner Groove beer for the night for you and one guest.
